I might know a guy in salmon arm. He used to have a pile of tj’s he was parting out. Let me know what you need and I’ll message him.

Got it off the trailer on the weekend. Pulled the top off with brads help in not breaking up the hard top more then it is. Didn’t even bother trying to get the folded door off myself. Drove it across the street and the body shop had it off during their coffee break with no stripped bolts. I’ll start stripping the dash out of it for them to fix the tub

so back on this thing wrecker thought they could bone me over the parts and once pulled aske 1.5 times what I was quoted so I let them sit on the parts for awhile. then last week I was getting some other parts off them and they asked what the deal was with the jeep parts. I told the guy i could get a complete tj body out of alberta for what they were asking. so now im paying the original price and the owner is delivering the parts to my shop on his day off

With the highway closed and customers unable to make it into town I figured I’d start stripping the interior

That’s kinda why I imported my tj. A perfect mix of modern and simplicity. Makes motor swaps easier.

definitely makes things easy for that

total time to strip the interior was like three hours.
I had a bunch of local jeep guys tell how much i was going to hate stripping it down especially all the torx hard ware but i only had one issue with one windshield bolt and it will be a easy fix

They reused the cowl piece instead of using a donor?

Here they were starting to work the wave out of the lower panel with a rosebud torch before starting on the cowl piece
