Re: ADHD build
You're just blasting it with water? Should get one of those wet sandblasting kits that injects grit into the stream.
(So I can borrow it from you the one time a year it would be nice to have)

that would be pretty sweet but like you said, probably only use it once a year. the salmon color seems to be holding pretty well and not coming off so probably pressure wash down to it then sand and paint over it.

Re: ADHD build
stripped the rear section of the frame and wire wheeled it cleanish
using my SD Deaver springs for this build. got the rears mocked up
not sure if shackle angle is good as no real weight on it yet. looking at my superduty the shackle is straight up at ride height so might be fine

Re: ADHD build
Does shackle angle even really matter on an inverted shackle? I guess you wouldn't want it too far one way or another, but beyond that I can't see it making a huge difference, it can't flip and jam the wrong way. Or I'm missing something.

Re: ADHD build
you are kinda right as its not like it can go to far and get stuck. will have to see if i can find longer shackles or build some as the stock ones are too short for the leafs and will rob me of travel that the deavers can give me

Re: ADHD build
Just get some drop shackles off eBay. You should be able to find a set made with 1/4 plate or whatever that will hold up to off road use.

Re: ADHD build
Belltech 6425 shackles showed up. they are meant for 04+ F150s and are 2.5 inches longer then the stock obs shackles. did have to grind the one side of the shackle to clear the hanger for full down travel.
moved the rear hanger back 2.5 inches and it looks pretty good to me for not having any weight on it yet

Re: ADHD build
more farmer hacks, front frame was bent from not having a bumper and just a chain between the two frame rails that bent the crap out of the frame. was able to push it back close, or good enough for a wheeling rig that will have a crossmember and bumper to hold everything together
better, forgot to take a pic of the other side but you get the idea
