Builds a 4400 car, puts on samurai hood, qualifies that to run 4500 class :lmao: some of the rigs in that class should be in the 4400, but the frame will probably just bend anyways... sorry for the derail :homer:

yeah 4500 has morphed quite a bit in the last few years.
1.75 tubing
mechanical steering
37 dot tire
max 2.5 coil over and must have lower mount bolted to the axles so no trailing arm setups

and in his case 1.5x3x1.75 wall rectangular (wet noodle) tubing.

I was more getting to the "must resemble an OEM production vehicle" rule but yeah like you said, guys are basically building a full 4400 race car now and making it fit the 4500 class requirements, instead of taking an OEM vehicle and building it into a race car. Takes away from the "everyman spirit" of the class I feel.

New name is beauty :lmao:

So its been awhile since I got any work done on this things. Got a savage man cold just before the whole corona lockdown. Of course that made me super busy with my uhaul contracts with every american with a work visa making a run for the border. ended up dragging the man cold out about two weeks longer than I would of liked. Top all that off with two rebuilds on customer rigs. now with the last customer rig almost done Im hoping to get back on this thing
