Well I can’t get a good pic of it but I had some time at work and powder coated my rack setup since I can’t weld aluminum so I won’t be changing it. The outside rack that you can see is mirror black with an iridescent aquamarine top coat so it’s basically dark green metallic in the light and black in the dark. The under cover parts I did boring old wrinkle black.

I bypassed the second battery. Vehicle seems to be charging more than it should but it’s within spec. Did a big service, changed diff oils and tcase fluid. Then I cut up my front bfg’s. Trying to get them to shed slush and stuff a bit better. They’ve never been great but now at 50% tread or just under it’s worse. I’d like to sipe the middle blocks but didn’t have time. The rears I might groove the middle blocks as well.

Fairly mild cut with #4 blade

Black Friday sales got me. I’ve thought of trading this in on a bigger truck and a small car for commuting but I couldn’t find much that I wanted. So I ordered a bigger better rooftop tent, 40L 12v cooler and Jackery 500 to power it. I’m going to have to rebuild my whole box setup, doing one full box slide drawer and probably something like a 3/4 height canopy for the tent to sit on. Maybe have the kitchen above the box on the drivers side on a fold out table type of idea perhaps.

Man got a warning for everything. It says “performance may be limited use one pedal at a time “

I was teaching my daughter manji slides on the airport and I was getting pretty aggressive in 4hi and dabbing the left foot braking mid corner to pick up the rotation speed. Apparently I had a little overlap in the pedal operation

Lost a mopar led headlight to a rock strike. Blasted my window out as well and the side of it. Expensive hit. Removed the grill and headlight, removed the rock and taped it up to try and keep it working until I get a new one or something anyways

I’ve been chasing handling issues for a really long time. My alignment was good, no weird tire wear, but no on center feeling, super hard to drive in wind and ruts on the highway. I was going to add a bit of caster but didn’t have time. Swapped to Toyo at3’s 37’s, and like 50-70% of what I was chasing went away.

I've always found Toyo to have some of the better build quality/roundness/balance.

Me too. My 34’s on the tj aren’t balanced and near perfect. The 37’s here , the worst has 2.5 ounces of weight on it I believe. I got the bfg’s as lots of guys rave about them, and being c load rated I thought was a good thing. But these toyos are far superior everywhere except highway ride.

I ran the ko2’s are 35-36 psi summer highway, 31-32 winter on the highway. The toyos are at 31 psi and a touch over inflated.

I don’t even run that much in my f350 on Toyo ATs I’d drop it to 26-28

Well the dreaded day came. I had to do rear brakes, so while the calipers were off the 3/4” spacers I had for the rear for years taking up room behind the rear seat were put in. 4 hour battle to unbolt the rear axle, loosened all the control arm mounts and track bar, remove shocks, sway bar, wheel speed sensor and used the forklift to raise it as much as I could and with some help I was able to pry the coils out and put the spacers in and pry the springs in. I should have removed the upper links and track bar to make this easier. Then I lengthened the front control arms to add a bit of caster. Preliminary results say it drives a bunch better. Need a long road trip to figure it out. I’m developing a knocking on the motor , most noticeable on startup and above 3000rpm when it shifts up. I’m still under warranty but I’m hesitant on the dealers up here. It might go back to salmon arm or over to grande prairie for this.
