im going to need to run a two piece front driveshaft on my buggy so I will need a support bearings, but I'm not willing to shell huge bucks for something that is super over kill like the one tmr customs makes.
So im thinking cut off the output shafts of a toyota tcase. sleeve them with tube. press on bearing then install that into more tube. attach flanges and boom super bad ass supportbearing
Right?

Re: front two piece drive shaft ideas
im thinking something like this with a cut down 60 pinion as be easy to get a bearing to match size wise and lot of yoke options

Re: front two piece drive shaft ideas
Just grabbed two front outputs from the scrapbin. Looking at these they might not be up to the task
I also looked back at a buggy built with all toyota drive train on 44 tsls and they were blowing the outputs with a v8 and front and rear tundra ten inch ring gear
Still has me thinking
