Summits really screwing me on my parts so il buy a roll of intake gasket material and make my own shit tomorrow. Not much real progress but welded a couple links together finished the skid plate and just did some last checks for clearances before final welding.

Havent had a plan of attack lately, ive just been throwing labor at this thing hoping to make progress. Picked up some bump stops for the front easy to package in the front end im hoping they dont get torn off right away. Brad helped me toss the cab on, clearanced a few things and threw some legit shifters on. Actualy happy with how they turned out.

If your running those might as well get cans for air bumps so it's an easy swap later....

I will probably only do air bumps if i go to coilovers and if i go coilovers im going to have to chop off the frame anyways...

Bunch of pics tonight. The mc is closer than i would like to the shock hoop. Might just do some creative grinding. My bumps are about as good as i hoped for. I built it so when they rip off it should bottom out on the steel and only clearance my pan a little bit. I think if i come down on them hard on one side it will destroy them as they bend over.

Back to work on this thing. I would be lying if i said i dont kind of enjoy the tedious engine stuff. Also my shifter showed up, first time buying parts off ebay and was not disapointed

Been falling behind here. Got the intake on finally and swapped all my rocker adjusting screws to new ones for some insurance. Not a good idea using aluminum rockers with unknown hours on them. Now prepping for paint. Then have to fab some accesory brackets

Man that waterpump pulley sure looks crusty on an engine with bling blang rockers. :eeks:

I think the rockers have more miles on them than the water pump :homer:
