Re: The Welfare Duty
Well I decided to enter Insanity Fab Winter Challenge.....and decided why not completely re-work the truck. So it got trussed diffs front and rear, 5:38 gears, 3 link up front with 2.5x14 Fox coilovers. Out back and an exo cage

Re: The Welfare Duty
The cage and mini boat sides. I think it was like 5-1/2inches off the bottom of the cab

Re: The Welfare Duty
We got it all together and went for a trial run. Worked great but I'm hard on stuff. Broke the front 60 and twisted the truss all up. With a week before we had to go to Idaho.

Re: The Welfare Duty
After talking it over with friends we decided to push and try to fix it. That night I drove to Houston and got another diff the next day had it stripped down. Then I passed it over to Jordon at HMF and he built a new beefier truss. We got the diff back and Sean and I swapped gears from one diff to the new one.

Re: The Welfare Duty
We got it all together and a hot lap around the block and off to Idaho. The race was a blast. The truck got flipped on its side, wrecked a door, broke the driver's side Knuckle and broke the sector shaft off the steering box. Oh plus got a flat steer tire

Re: The Welfare Duty
Home from the race it was time to fix it. New knuckle, steering box, rear leafs and shackles, door, tire and it was ready to rally some more

Re: The Welfare Duty
Then I flopped the truck again just out for a Sunday cruise. I had to test the cage to make sure it works right

Re: The Welfare Duty
So the truck got a face lift! Time for new body panels and some paint! Plus some sponsorship decals!

Re: The Welfare Duty
With the truck looking all new! It was off to Tail Creek race. Was a blast really fun race and we managed to come home with a 2nd place, fastest pass, and a broken truck! Do you know what happens when you jump a 7000lb truck not knowing your bump stops are torn off!
