I want 20L~ or so of extra gas for the XJ because eh. Ropax are brutally expensive, way more than is justified for any IP/R&D they did. I saw Vevor had some knock-offs on sale, and figured I'd snag a couple to see what they're like. Don't get me wrong, they're still expensive, but I could not find a normal jerry can in the flatter format that used to be common.
They have these absolutely garbage CA compliant spouts. I do not know what Ropax come with, but these are horrible:
Luckily they're the same thread and size as a Scepter can, so no big deal throwing a normal spout in it:
The mounts seem decent enough, has a few hole options to start with and you could drill more. Both of the ones I bought took the same key, which to me is a bonus because, although I'll probably not lock them anyway:

Re: Vevor gas cans
Also, they do have a vent on them, you do not need a self venting spout.
They seem very sturdy, plastic is quite thick. I think they should be fine.

That’s cool. That’s been on my hit list as well. I’ll be needing a compact setup for extra fuel next year as well

Re: Vevor gas cans
With Vevor they do random good sales and random coupons and stuff, and sometimes they list their stuff on Amazon for less. So it's just a matter of waiting for the right time to get them.
