Anyone try that Steel-It paint that TMR sells? I know it's probably too rich for anything I'm building, but its an intriguing product.
Asking because they're absolutely spamming me about it being on sale right now.

Re: Steel-it paint
I'm curious too, been thinking of buying a few cans and trying it.
I love TMR but I sure get tired of their constant spamming. Im not going to buy a flatbar bender already.....

You have to prep to bare metal big time. Like if it’s an axle full sand blast. Otherwise your just wasting your money

Re: Steel-it paint
If you've gone to that much trouble then it seems like shooting it with an epoxy or other activated paint makes more sense.pointsnorth wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 12:55 pm You have to prep to bare metal big time. Like if it’s an axle full sand blast. Otherwise your just wasting your money

Re: Steel-it paint
ive used it a little bit and seems to work pretty well but damn its not cheap but does hold up better then anything else in a spray bomb ive tried. just bought some of the quarts and tired rolling it on so can get it thicker so will see if thats better then the spray stuff.
