Those racks are fine. Mine held my 36” irok until I ripped the cross bars off the rails, then ripped the rails out of the roof. It’s a decent spot Line you said for extra fuel and what not

I forgot how horrible this is to do. Especially when it's so cold you don't want your shop door open, or even cracked. I would have cut them different, but I started doing this, so it is what it is. Might order a siping blade and do some of that too. :homer:

Planning to try to do one last run on the Toyos before switching to the snow tires, but I had to pull the hubs apart to grease the wheel bearings, so I figured I'd mock up how these will fit.

I'm not sure why I was concerned about these wheels hitting the steering. They're nowhere near it. :lmao:

Been busy with other things and finally had some time to cut down the studs and throw the spacers/tires on.

Of course one of the last lugnuts got tight before it seated, I tried backing it off and it got worse, then the whole stud in the spacer spun.

Was quite annoying to cut it off from inside the wheel. I cleaned up the cut once I got it off and I think I'll just run it like that. I doubt a new stud will have any hope of holding in the spacer because it was completely thundered by the time I cut/beat the lugnut off.

The right thing would be to buy another pair of spacers but the set I bought only came as 4, and it seems most of them in this size use the metric studs.

Also I got the tire repair vulcanizing compund I ordered, so I'll give that a go one of these nights.

That's pretty well how I feel at this point. Not going to drive it on the street anyway. Ford also offered a 7 stud option from the factory, so we'll just say it's that. :homer:

So I tried to fix the tire that was plugged... Sort of.

This is the stuff I got from the local place:

They claim they have instructions on their website. I couldn't find them and figured I'd YOLO it with what the tire shop guy said, which was mix 50/50 and it should cure at room temperature.

Tire with the patch off the plugs:

I went back and forth here because the plugs were doing just fine in there and decided to just cut them off clean and coat over it. Wrong thing to do? Probably.

Ugly:

The stuff is super sticky and gooey and an absolute bitch to mix, and then I really couldn't smooth it out nice. But, who cares. What I do care is it really hasn't set up yet, so I cranked the shop heat up to 80 degrees and we'll see. Might have to find a space heater to get it to kick.

The tires don't fit at all in the front. Then I went to get married (Not a sham wedding, unlike some people :poke: ) so I didn't do anything about it. It clears great if you don't turn at all. Unfortunately adding a bit of lift or bumpstop won't fix it, I'd have to cut a ton of the body off.

It looks pretty mean though. :homer:

I guess it has now snowed a ton more so I'll have to decide if I can feasibly cut enough for them to fit or not. Pretty tempted to say f it for this season and put the 37s back on though.
