Intake operating gate. The lock gate door working on the unit is the same size but no where near as beefy as this one.

No this is Peace canyon dam. The WAC Bennett has way more generating capacity and way higher/longer dam but the units at peace canyon are some of the biggest in the world. This gate I believe is the biggest bc hydro has. The generators/runners were made by Stalingrad metalworks. Whatever the Bennett has for water flow peace canyon needs to keep pace with that. The Bennett has 10 units, peace canyon has 4. We’ve got lifting beams that weight 30-50 tons alone just to pull the rotor and runner out of the hole. They had to derate the Power house cranes from 650 tons each , there’s 2 of them to 320 tons because if one crane lifted 650 tons in the wrong spot it would collapse the powerhouse.

Rolling up to a fishing hole in 4lo and this is sitting there. Didn’t check to see what chassis it was sitting on. I did notice it had a full body drop The bed wasn’t more than eight inches deep

Thought this was pretty funny the size difference. A guy I work with has a fairly decent spring over 1.6 swapped sami on 31’s.

Well couple teaser pics I got. Brian in the mitsubishi Jeep after what seems like forever, more than a year of collecting parts and prefabbing suspension is finally blowing it apart for the 60 series Cruiser diff swap. He got a pair of TRE lockers for the diffs. 37’s and 2 lockers with Coil suspension will be a huge step forward from the short leafs and 33’s he had with the 60 year old powerlok Center sections.

Okay I lied. He’s high lining the front fenders. Custom built himself , as a step towards the diff swap. He needs the extra clearance

Looks like he did a killer job on fabbing those fenders.

Well he’s almost got it driveable. Still needs paint and stuff. But I think it’s awesome. Big change.
