Tires ??

Post by Scoobienorth »

Looking for a set of mud tires for the white grand, something 33x12.5 ish. I’ve got 15x8 and 17x8 to choose from. They need to be street legal ish, but not street friendly. Be summerish only. What’s worth buying, what is available? Not used to mud running up north. But I’m not mud bogging the gladiator on the regular.

In the small sizes looks like the ndt irok isn’t to bad priced for a 17” rim. I want to keep the white Jeep more rally wagon as they seem to less headache on 33” tires.

I’m not planning on running the vintage class, they still make those?

I’ve been eyeballing the utv tires. Some are dot rated. Might be a little light for a minivan though. I guess no one runs little tires anymore

I think they're still one of their better selling tires. :homer:

The 34x10.5 ltb and 33x9.5 sx2 are almost the same size. Any comments between the two? Both available in 15 and 17’s. My 17’s hold a better bead than the 15’s but I’d rather run the 15’s any thoughts?

Boggers are Cool but damn pricy even in small sizes. But a 33x12.5r15 be sweet. Everything looks better with boggers. Where is best spot to get swampers at?

If your looking for local to you most major tire shops like kaltire etc have dropped interco. I can bring them in but I’m not local

Ltbs vs sx2. The ltbs have a very heavy carcass and will not ever really balance well. Sx2 on the other hand balance extremely well imo for a aggressive tire
