They’ve caught my eye, plus to that is some came with ls power so swapping in couldn’t be that hard!
The other newer platform that caught my eye is a frontier as you can swap the titan suspension for a beefier ifs setup and budget long travel. They are a little heavy though.

My wj is already 5000 pounds but hides it pretty well. Bigger axles , steering and tcase set up will crank the weight up a fair bit. the idea of the full size truck is great but have to be carful if you want to do snow wheeling as you have to think you are starting with a truck in the 6500 pound range and then adding more weight from there. nice part is like you said you can run your 37s for mild wheeling and camping (overlanding bro) parts are cheap and easy and most of the stock parts are strong to start with.
depending on your budget id just buy some aftermarket diffs for your current platform and tweak the suspension to move the diffs out and run a larger tire for snow bashing. oh and a real tcase
I like the tracker idea as said I could keep my tires and winch and tires while still gaining performance. It would also work a lot better in the technical and tight trails where I’ll hammering my rear body work. Everything behind the doors gets worked over or is nearly missed. I’ve damaged my rear hatch again pretty good.

It’s a rotten cracked frame, with a body that’s hacked together from when we didn’t know how to do body work, in reality the only usable parts are the vin tags, hood and parts of the floor

It’s a short nose one, old style so the six banger won’t fit. But I’ve always thought grabbing a small tube buggy frame and moving the body parts over would be cool. I like the Aqualu CJ option.
But I'd build it into a CJ-10... So honestly I don't know if your VIN is even worth anything for doing that. But if I just wanted to toss money out the window I'd probably do that. Then I'd tell everyone it's actually a "real" Gladiator and refuse to give the Jeep Wave to people in Wranglers.

They go fast if their cheap. They have known motor problems so if you see one with a blown motor it’s generally the one that has the 4l60 behind it. Actually know of one here in houston 2014 blown motor and he told me 3000 but his dad later told me he would take even less
There is a older extended cab here as well 2500
