Poked around yesterday and made some light bar mounts to mount up a curved 40” I will be removing the 2 round lights.

Also made up a mount for the beacon. The roof on this thing is pretty hacked up from previous things just self tapped through anyways mounting the beacon to the rack so have room for board mounts.

My buddy has been bugging me to try a bench seat. So hunted one down at the junkyard. Late 90s Yukon back seat. Slid in for a mock up and actually fits pretty good and is way comfortable compared to original. Also offers up quite a bit more seating space for passengers

Also I have received almost all my parts I ordered except the sniper efi which is back ordered till Dec 15....

Been all over the place on the build and not really getting a ton of time lately but I did dive into the tracks last night, and can say that they are way worse than beadlocks

not sure why the pics arent showing. Yeah they are and the wheel guides are bolted through the belt to the cleats with carriage bolts that slide into the cleat, safe to save every forth one spins in the cleat

But yeah, no advice on taking those apart quickly. Impact and hope for the best maybe?

Its a pain but heat will help.
There not the exact same but ive done miles of tracks for heavy equipment and realistically theres not an easy way, just alot of grunt work. Especially on the ground.
If theres any room in the cleats ya could make a tool to take up any of that space to aid in removing maybe haha hard to see in picture on my phone

That’s the problem, the impact hammers the bolts and spins the square inside the aluminum cleat, then you’re fucked. Have to cut the bolt. So I have to hand loosen them all first then impact them off, and they’re all nylocks.

John- you’re not wrong, lots of ground work I’m worried the heat will transfer into the belt

Maybe just give up and tack a piece of scrap across all the carriage heads before trying to loosen?

Can you tighten them with the impact and break them off.
