Anyone try Goodyear wrangler mtr?

Post by Johnny5 »

I see these things on 4wd24/7 and they seam to work well in mud and rocks and are tough with that kevlar. There rigs are usually a overland setup and heavy as hell (6000 to 10000 lbs).
Anyone know much about em or had a set? Seam to be decently priced

All I know is people complained the sidewalls are "weak" and tear easy. Not sure if that's been improved any or not.

I hated the mtr/k. They absolutely needed to be aired down , weren’t round at all and were noisy. They flexed well and were tough. The compound didn’t work well in the snow but the floatation made up for it most of the time. Honestly the milestars are one of the best on and off road tires out there. They are with the iroks for performance almost everywhere except where the 3” of extra width made a difference floation wise but they are round and awesome on the street
