Re: HudsonBay Bomber
Then cut some fishplates out for the mounting points as the bottom rocker is pretty thin.
Tacked them on

Hacked up some power leads for the future winch. Decided to go through the bumper so cut up some red and black Teflon

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
Hmm, that's a nifty way to do that versus just some stray cables hanging out with an Anderson connector on them.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Thru-Firewall- ... 2817222016 (that isn't a particularly good price)Scott Cee AKA 2drx4 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 10:03 pm Hmm, that's a nifty way to do that versus just some stray cables hanging out with an Anderson connector on them.
You can also get them with a spark plug style post for your ignition coil.

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
Seemed to work out. I will put a master disconnect switch so I will only energize the circuit if needed for safety reasons. The fuel tank is right behind the leads and if there was ever a short things would get spicy real fastScott Cee AKA 2drx4 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 10:03 pm Hmm, that's a nifty way to do that versus just some stray cables hanging out with an Anderson connector on them.

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
So moved onto the running board tread plate failure
I was a bit worried that holes were too close to the edge for the dimple die but pushed through anyways
And should’ve trusted the ol gut, but instead went with bullheaded dumbassness....
holes were too close to the edge and shrunk the side, then proceed for about another hour to try to salvage the piece. Like Jesse James said “Sometimes you just have to come to grips with the fact you made a piece of shit and start over”

First time trying to upload pics through the site as I’ve apparently reached the max uploads for the month through Tapatalk
Started bending hoop and got my ass kicked, but managed to get it figured out again. took about 3 hrs for the first hoop and about 20mins for the second
