Solar post lights that don't suck?

Post by Scott Cee AKA 2drx4 »

Pretty hard off topic on this one.

I want to put a post light on the end of the railing that divides my driveway. In theory this might reduce the chances of backing into it. As I did not think ahead when building the railing I did not drill holes in the uprights to allow you to pull a wire through them.

So I need a solar light. Or to go back to the drawing board. All the solar lights I have played with seem to die fairly soon, within a few years at best, often within a few months. Has anyone had any luck with any that actually lasted? And weren't crap?

Picture of the style of light I'm talking about if I've lost you.

The reviews I read for most of them said they filled with water and died.

So I'm not sure that the quality is any better.
