Are you still allowed to make ubuilt trailers?
Im so used to bc laws taking away all our fun and freedoms that i didnt think we were allowed to do that anymore

Re: Expedition Trailer 3000
still can, just have to have paperwork for all the big parts of the trailer. if you want a vin or if over the 3000 pound gvw then you have to get it inspected and jump through more hoops

Re: Expedition Trailer 3000
They tried to get rid of ubilts not being inspected, then they realized there was 10 million janky ubilts out there and inspecting all of them would be a disaster.

Re: Expedition Trailer 3000
I’m stealing the axle idea as most times those sterling diffs you can get for free

Re: Expedition Trailer 3000
been working on this as my holidays are in a week, but some things have changed so not taking this trailer with me so will finish it when i have time and more steel
polished up 1 wheel and looks pretty good
got the tongue, spare tire mount and the boat/kayak rack built. not super happy with the rack being square but it was the easy way to do it
put the axle together and springs in and went with spring under to make the trailer not crazy tall
