Trac bar and tie rod in with temp ram mount. Plumbed the ram and bled the steering system. Still have to build the drag link
Slammed the Tcase in. Will have to shorten both shafts I have

Re: Super Shopper Special
Had to take 2” off the front shaft and put it in. Pulled it out for a block lap and see how it feels. Aside from some fender rubbing everything felt good

Re: Super Shopper Special
Took some holidays but back on it. Plumbed the air lockers just need to mount the solenoids for them. Also built the drag link and did the steering alignment
Also stated building the steering clamp for the ram. Milled the top flat/ drilled out a hole in it and was going to build a threaded insert and my lathe shit the bed . Blew the start capacitor so ordered one off Amazon. Might just go to my buddies shop to finish it up. Here’s the clamp before I drilled the hole. Cleaned it up with a flat bastard to hide my shady milling skillz

Re: Super Shopper Special
Made up a simple bracket to mount the Air locker manifold. Mounted a crusty old gauge there and will run a line into the cab for another gauge also. Ran the wiring harness from the compressor and manifold into the cab.

Re: Super Shopper Special
Took some time away from the tedious jobs to mount some overly ridiculous lights, because what’s a mall crawling minivan without some LEDs These are actually DOT approved, was going to go with a 9” but they covered half the head light. These 7” will be plenty

Compared with the old yellowed out headlights those LEDs are going to be as bright as the sun.

you could polish those lenses with some super fine sandpaper and get them looking a little better

Re: Super Shopper Special
Decided against going the stover/loctite route, as I think a trail repair could get shitty real fast. So drilled and castled all the steering fastners
Also started plumbing in the trans cooler. Pulled out the factory check valve in the cooler lines. Doing some research I’ve found that lots of trans failures were tracked back to blockage in the valve. Dropped the pan and found some metal in there, most likely the first service it’s seen since new I’m assuming. Napa gave me the wrong filter kit, no surprise there.
With that at a stand still I started plumbing the compressor and front diff vent, pretty much complete just need the quick connect for the air line.
Aside from some final trac bar adjustments and tie rod ram mount the front axle is all final bolted in.
