Pioneer rack

Pioneer rack with shovel, axe and mattock. Mounted to hood with rubber isolators from McMaster.

that's a pretty slick rack and setup
Up is difficult, down is dangerous

The rack, nuts and bolts, straps, and miscellaneous brackets are MilSurp and considered a Pioneer Rack Kit. I added the tools - the mattock is from when I served - and the rubber isolators.

im pretty sure ive got the same mattock. i have multipule handles made for it. I used to use it a ton prospecting quick disassembly makes for easy storage on the pack frame

Cool! They are handy tools. Better than an entrenching tool for certain tasks.
