2nd gen tracker family four wheeler

Got a decent deal on this tracker and needed 4 doors for the family since a 88 toyota aint got fack all for room, barely fit my fat ass haha

Tryin to fit the winch from the toyota in there. Dunno if anyone puts a 8500 lb in a tracker but thats what i got so thats what imma jam in there.
Also dont wanna put a big bumper on her cause id like to keep it lite.

That’ll work fine for winching. A lot of the smaller winches are just junk. Like almost anything for utv’s. Nicely tucked back in there.

Placed the bumper proped against tracker to see and it might actually look good haha but i couldnt javk apart a hmf original lol
Also i dont want the weight, and also the toyota will live again one day and will need it.

Ya i do have a 4500 lb from a gator sxs that needs the plastic gear replaced but figured fuck it ill use this cheap princess auto one.
The winch actually works good. Its honestly lived most its life unused haha. Helps me up hills once or twice fue to lack of horse powers.
Other than that its done 90 percent of its working life pulling jeeps up baldy mountain

Ya i was wondering how to fit it in there and once i got bumper off and started looking i was surprised.
Its like an old camaro with a v6 up front. Tons of wasted space lol

Ya man thatd be sweet haha i didnt wanna bug ya but for me to fit the bigger tires i really need to do the widening mod so the tires dont rub on frame. Dunno why they made the frames so wide on the damn things.

Got the mount closer to being done. Gotta pretty it up and drill holes and shit but roughly where its gonna sit in there now.
Decided to raise up and just cut more grill out haha

Also anything one know what happens if i just dont reinstall the airbag sensor thing? Code show up? Illegal? Burst into flames cause its sacrilegious?
I just dont really even want it in there cause i drive rough off road anyway

nothing happens, fuck those airbag sensors.

just unplug the steering wheel sensor as well if you are paranoid about driving it like that

had a 2001 2dr the clock spring went out on, took a couple years to get around to fixing it, light may or may not come on, but the system won't "fire" if the bag isn't hooked up. if the bumper sensors are just left unhooked, don't stick a fork into them and they won't trip, but you also need to do it while you are driving above something like 30 mph or they won't fire.

we had our tracker for 11 or 12 years, wife bought it brand new about a year before we started dating. had to make sure we got our value out of it. "one of these days" i'd love to build one up.
