89 FJ62 family wheeler
Starting a Build thread here to keep me motivated
Bought it back in 2015 did basic maintenance for the next three years then it got parked do too a brake issue and me being too busy to look at it. sat at my place where it became part of the kids playground. this spring I boosted it and took down to my shop and gave it the once over and started ordering parts.
Ive also collected a few parts rigs along the way the goal is too get it back on the road as a reliable exploring rig for the family.
First off is suspension, its dicked. Broken spring packs front and rear and for half the price too have replacement stock springs, I got a set of ome lift springs. next the shackles were rotted and the bushing pretty much non existent. the rear spring plates had cracked
The front knuckles had play and the drivers birfield is clicking bad so yukon kit is on the shelf as well as some trailmart hd knuckle rings
Lastly body panels 60 series bodypanels are garbage but i think ive rounded up all that I need except the rear quarters as Im undecided what is going to happen with that

Re: 89 FJ62 family wheeler
Got some time last week to pull the battery and get it charged up. Hoping to round up the last few things this week for the lift.
