those locking dipsticks? been thinking about getting one for my trans and trying to make my engine one into a locking one some how as cant buy one to fit my oil pan

Interesting. I've always been suspicious of those clamps and that would confirm my fears.

Yeah both of them. Been long over due, my trans is one I sourced from the junkyard as all aftermarket cheap stuff is shit and motor one spits out when shes hitting the high Rs. Theyre pimp

Yeah, they have their place, but I was hoping they would hold up a bit better. Only driven the truck a handfull of times since I installed them. Im just going to bend them back strait and weld the bottom clamp up. I plan to change my trans cooler lines to rubber hydraulic lines. Swapped the pump fittings on the transmission to accept the new lines. Upped the line size by a bit also.
