So the limited slip in my 8.8 feels pretty weak by hand. I'll probably leave it alone and wait until I see if it works before I do anything. However, there is rebuild clutches for it.
Available on Rockauto:
Not super cheap. I'm assuming the more you pay the more you play.
Is there anything else out there? Any experience with any of these?

Re: Ford 8.8 limited slip clutches
Also, there is a Ford Racing kit on Amazon, P/N M4700C for about $270 Prime. Carbon disks, good reviews, looks like it fits the Exploder. What's not to hate?
The Yukon ones, P/N YPKF8.8-PC, are also on there for $183. Commentors say they are "just as good" as the Ford racing ones. Hmm.

They're all roughly the same. The trick is to cram more clutches in there. Should be a write up on a mustang forum somewhere.Scott Cee AKA 2drx4 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 4:27 pm Not super cheap. I'm assuming the more you pay the more you play.

Carbon probably lasts longer if you're getting it real hot, I guess?arse_sidewards wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 3:15 amThey're all roughly the same. The trick is to cram more clutches in there. So buy the cheap ones and try to jam them in with the ones that are already there?
