has anyone ever looked into this? maybe thought of ditching the triton spark plug popping turd and the leaky overheating sob we all call the 4r100 for some thing better

did some digging and there is a diesel shop south of the border offering a ford nv 271 as a replacement behind a allison so its got to be something simple as they neither show or mention any special adapters in the kit parts list. I know you can swap the guts out of a dodge case into the ford case and all that required is filing two of the bolts holes on the transmission
