Wheels, powdercoat versus paint

I have a set of wheels I'd like to spruce up.
Would you go with powdercoat? Or just paint them with something decent like Omni, Imron, etc?
Or just fucking rattle can them (maybe with clear) and bake them in the oven in your kitchen?

Didn't know you were supposed to bake 'em. Probably why my rattle can jobs always peal...

I’ve gotten decent results with the duplicolor wheel paint on my car.

It works well for most spray paint. Or at least it doesn't make it worse.

My vote is powder coat I've had a few sets done and love it

rattlecan or decent paint plus a good clear.
i'm not personally a fan of powder for most things and a good clear will give a hard finish, but really, how much abuse do wheels you care enough to paint really take?

1. Wire wheel some rusty steel rims
2. Paint them so they don't rust anymore
3. Smash them on shit
4. Hammer them straight
5. Ignore them until they start rusting
6. Go to step 1.

well yeah, in that case spray can and no clear is the obvious winner

Black so you don't have to worry about overspray on the tires.

Turns out these wheels are way too far gone to justify powdercoat.
I hit one with Duplicolor wheel paint. I actually like the colour, but the pitting still shows badly. Also the nozzle dripped badly while in use, was pretty annoyed about that.
I'm undecided if I should just accept it and buy another set of wheels, or paint the other ones and run it.

body filler and then repaint them with duplicolor? any thing that will accept paint will be fine.

I was going to suggest high build primer to minimize pitting
