Post up kits you like or would consider buying
while looking for info for my sons build I can across Fab801 they make the Rocklizard chassis. they are more geared towards a 4cylinder lightwieght build as their base chassis was originall built using samurai running gear and toy axles. now they are building two four seater basic chassis which means only the bare bones is in the kit. you can build from the front link mounts forward any way you want as that isnt included same with the back you can leave it as it is or build room for a cooler and camping gear.
This is the four seat chassis assembled with tubing provided
This is a four seat chassis build the way a customer wants.

That kids chassis is sweet. Im not really liking the bends in the B and C pillars on that 4 seater though.

Not that I would buy one due to exchange and cost of shipping. But always really like BENT Fabrications chassis. Has 2 new DIY ones based on the cliffhanger and EVO3 which is basically a Grunt with more room
EVO3. I really like how they incorporate a bunch of items into the shock towers
Pic of a Grunt Build, sexy AF

yeah it is not ideal in a high speed roll over for sure these are a low speed rockcrawler trailrig chassis. that said most factory sxs have that same bend. and when those are actually raced the first thing thats usually done is thetditch the factory rollcage for that reason.
I think the four seater is the only one that even uses 1 3/4 dom everywhere. the two seater uses only 1 3/4 in the lower subframe

Its funny, because I don't really like that chassis when its skined out with the jeep hood and cowl. But I really like the looks of it with minimal panels like the one you posted, looks way faster haha

I really want to like the TMR chassis, but I just can't, too jeeplike.
Might look good with an OBS ford grill and 3 headlights though....

I like the bomber chassis for something that isn't a dedicated crawler.
otherwise, the goatbuilt subframe is a great base to build off of.
if i ever get my current rig done, buying a subframe and bolting/welding it onto an interesting body will probably be the next project.
