Looking at swapping an om617 in the truck eventually. Lookin for the economy, like to do more long range trips with it.

I happen to have my own OM617 disaster going on. Don't buy anything from Mercedes Diesel 4x4.

That would be awesome, i thought i had a typo but no confirmation email.

Im from Williams Lake but when the truck runs i will try most things.

I was eyeing up parts from Doomsday Diesel for most of my swap. For the amount I drive the diesel efficiency kinda wins out. Need to be able to get more than couple hundred km out of a tank.
