Hey y'all, I'm Jinx.

No clue if I'm actually the only Alberta member or not, but if I am I'll proudly claim that title! Stumbled across the forum while lurking through Pirate and figured I'd hop onto another where people may be closer to me. My stomping grounds are Yellowhead County and the Valemount / McBride area, so if any of y'all want to come down and wheel let me know!

Running a stockish 2012 JK at the moment, but slowly addling pieces here and there while I build my fabrication skills and tool collection so I can start the real shitshow of a build. End goal is 40"+ tires, 4 linked SD Dana 60 / 14 bolt FF, LS engine, full cage and a fairly aggressive stretch front and rear. Probably going to be at least a little butchered, but gotta learn somehow....

Photo is from last summer, but the jeep isnt much different these days except for a couple new scars.

Welcome aboard. That’s a nice area to wheel I think. Haven’t been out that way in a wheeling rig.

A poem written in one of the bathroom stalls in YYC:

Here I sit
My ass a hurtin'
About to give birth
To another Albertan

:flipoff:

Welcome to the forum.

And there's definitely some interesting terrain around Valemount and McBride. You can get into the alpine there. Just gotta watch for caribou closures.

Welcome to the forum. Always wondered if there was decent wheeling around mcbride/valemount areas. Post up pictures in the trips section
