Re: HudsonBay Bomber
planing to bring it up the mountain next weekend. We generally have snow up there until May and will get the most use of the machine after the resort is closed in April.Scott Cee AKA 2drx4 wrote:So, is this thing going to be ready when there's still snow?

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
So playing a little catch up here. I got the tracks all done and what a pile of misery. They went together well just really labour intensive. With that done I started on the rear seating. Grabbed a square body bench.
Hacked up some plates and some basic bitch mounts. Made it all bolt on so can be removed pretty easily

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
I wanted it up at our cabin before the family day weekend so smashed through a few late nights and got it running. Cleaned up the wiring and replaced the coolant gauge, I was head scratching on the gauges as couldn’t get them work and talked to Timber about it. “Check the ground” yup that’s it. Big waste of time hahaha. Anyways got it running and hauled up.

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
First impressions driving it. It’s sweet. I was actually impressed with it power wise as there’s a lot of hate on the little 1.6 on a snowcat forum I’m on and really didn’t think it was too bad. It hauled 6 people up the mountain in 2nd pretty easily. EFI and a small turbski and it’ll be tits. But honestly it’s pretty decent power wise. I have to whip up a proper board rack soon and also still a bunch to do, but good enough for now and nice to get some seat time and get a feel for it. Mountain gets shut down for high winds...this chair lift still runs

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
Definitely down to see the teriyaki tornado mod happen. Nothing increases reliability like 20 pounds of boost.

I will only run 5 max for that reason, and make it somewhat difficult to turn up so after a few budsicles i don't try to get rowdy with it

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
Best seat on the cat. I need to make some foot rests and cup holders when we first went up, hit some steep stuff and the back of the seat folded forward and dumped everyone off thats why theres a ratshit strap on it.

Re: HudsonBay Bomber
So I tried out a Amazon wakeboard mount and actually was pretty decent and quite a bit cheaper than the Thule board clamps.
And been Bombing around. Last weekend was a beauty, shorts and T shirt
