Nope. I bought the pair for $600 and used the front and sold the rear for $500. I’ve got a wj 44a factory rear for $100 that will bolt in. Doing the truss was a lot of expense and time I didn’t want to use. It wasn’t worth it. I’m sitting on 5.13 gears and apparently the beefier jk gears I have will bolt into the 44a housing. For now I’ll run my crappy gearing as it’s been reliable as is. In the latest video incoming you’ll see me struggle on a ledge and that’s where it’s a balancing act. I needed a solid bump but If I bounced back im fairly sure my d35 would puke. I’m going to run the 35 this winter or until it breaks. It’s got a lot better ground clearance than either 44 option.

Well I went to fix and clean up a couple small issues and had the airbox out and I found my old superduty cold air intake and I got distracted and suddenly my jeep has a seriously bojang cold air intake, used an old inner fender to stop the radiator air and heat from the header from coming in through the air filter.

And this is why my carpets were pulled out. Almost an inch of water already on the floor after Sunday’s trip.

Re: Project Lay-Z-Boy
Well played with my caster angle a bit today and low and behold I have a very narrow window to drive in. To much or to little and I get death wobble but right about the factory spot it drives smooth. It’s a touch floaty but drives smooth. That’s as good as it gets with these tires. But I have been contemplating selling them and moving to 17x8’s with 4.25” backspace and 37’s for drivability

Yeah, a bit narrower tire with the scrub radius a bit more centered should drive a lot better. Plus all the cool kids run 17s as a minimum now.

Ya I definitely put the scrub in scrub radius with this setup. The crow hop from the ujoints is really bad too with these tires. Its brutal on anything hard packedScott Cee AKA 2drx4 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2019 6:16 pm Yeah, a bit narrower tire with the scrub radius a bit more centered should drive a lot better. Since I stole the radio for the daily and the Japanese one doesn’t work over here I finally got around to tossing my old Tad m10 in the hole. Handier than a radio that doesn’t work anyways.

I can see the iroks being floaty with the weight of your rig. Seeing as when they were introduced their biggest feature was being the lightest tire on the market. I don’t imagine they have much load carrying capacity.

Re: Project Lay-Z-Boy
Both bushings. It was driving worse today than previous days but as soon i finished playing in both rock gardens today it kept getting worse and worse. By the time we got back to pavement it as terrible. The bushings were good a few trips ago but failed quickly. Now because I’m on a “custom “ setup I’ll have to try and find replacement bushings. I’ve got an aftermarket jk track bar that I cut down but I’m not sure what brand.

I think so. Looks to be a bds/zone track bar off a jk, called zone up and new bushings on the waypointsnorth wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 5:41 am Did get your parts figured out?

Also found that terraflex and steer smart both make the track bar I need for my stretch but it’s $400.
