I had secured the rear springs with some temporary u bolt plates.

I sent the originals off to hauks metal fab with a crappy drawing of what I had in mind Image

Or course he nailed it

oh there was some cursing. I wasnt planning on upgrading my press right then and there haha but in the end I'm glad it happened as the new press is pretty nice. Some scabby stuff I wasnt fond of at first but it has some nice features that outway most of the cons. Biggest was I could put it togeather in an hour and its "certified". Where it would take me atleast a day to re create what the old press was but rated for more.. and it 30 tons(10 more than before) and was on sale..

I have since added a foot pedal for the air so its hands free.

Defanitly not going to bend the top die any time soon. Now to re work the bottom die and as guides so the top die stays in line as the ram has a tenancy to rotate with cycling..

Hmm, I might have to check out PA. I do need a bigger/better press myself.
