Top Ramen

Post by pointsnorth »

I’ve been working at this more lately. Had plans to tackle the full hydro setup this weekend. But parts showed up for a customers build so it went on the back burner. Image

It’s was a factory 4x4 v8 truck as far as I can tell. Originally a three on the tree, but that was swapped out for a automatic probably the same time it got newer diffs with disc brakes up front

So intake flip was a bust as I didnt get the proper bolts ordered. amazon says nov 5th delivery. ended up having to shave all ten locating pins off my intake as its a factory take off. aftermarket intakes dont have them.

to be honest buying a aftermarket intake would have been cheaper in the long run

Nice, I noticed your ram only has provisions for 2 clamps? I thought they all had 4 mount options?

On the ram housing itself there is usually 2 more machined grooves on the inside of the fittings on the ram to use 4 mounts. They must have changed?
