That’s kinda why I’m doing this, I can’t really gain much in terms of flex as I’m at the limits of a lot of parts and for some reason this thing works well and seems to find traction when other rigs are struggling so I don’t want to change much but definitely get rid of the problem prone arm.

Not really. The material I had to fabricate the mounts was marginal. So went and got some new stuff then I did a stupid thing and put my finger where I shouldn’t have And got it caught between a flag nut and wrench with the big Milwaukee impact hard enough to cut the finger off the glove I was wearing so I got mad threw everything down and left it. Fingers healing pretty good so might give it a go tomorrow for a bit.

Brackets are crude at best but they are roughed in just need a hand to center and verify things then tack it up and cycle it. I think I need to shorten my upper arms a bit, maybe an inch. Might drill one hole lower as well as I’ve got room in the frame side heim to drop some more.

Trim that bracket up a bunch and weld the piss out of it, should work good.

While I was at work Steve swing by with the service truck and verified my bracket placement and burned it in. My 110 welder is a little light for 1/4” plate.

I’ve got to cut it down and it won’t be quite so big but it’ll stay ugly. There’s 3 bolts that go into the center section where the upper arm ball joint mounted from the factory

It’ll be cut on the orange. The green is where the bolt holes are. The bolt holes aren’t centered or even either, tried to center the arms pivot to the center of the ball joint

3 bolts really doesnt seem like much to me to hold the diff in place but guess if thats how it was stock you should be fine

A lot beefier then a tracker/sidekick ball joint . I think even the seven seater gv or xl7 just use a balljoint

Can you add a bracket that bolts to some of the diff cover bolts and then bolts to that as well? It seems like it would be worth it for the safety factor.
