Pretty hard off topic on this one.
I want to put a post light on the end of the railing that divides my driveway. In theory this might reduce the chances of backing into it. As I did not think ahead when building the railing I did not drill holes in the uprights to allow you to pull a wire through them.
So I need a solar light. Or to go back to the drawing board. All the solar lights I have played with seem to die fairly soon, within a few years at best, often within a few months. Has anyone had any luck with any that actually lasted? And weren't crap?
Picture of the style of light I'm talking about if I've lost you.
Solar post lights that don't suck?

The reviews I read for most of them said they filled with water and died.YellowJacket wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 10:20 pm Ther are once that just use rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. Easy to replace when they die

So I'm not sure that the quality is any better.
