Put a set of the new superswamper sx2 on a 4Runner. I was actually surprised by the good road manners they had. They where noisiest at slower speeds then cruising down the highway. 3/4 of an inch down the middle and 1.5 inches out on the largest lug

All tires are like that. Ever heard of the doppler effect?

Also if you had 2nd row passengers they would almost certainly disagree that it's quieter at highway speed. Find the speed your tires start quieting down and lean your head real far back if you don't believe me.

I’m disappointed I didn’t think of that when I modified the jk rear shocks to fit my wj. Here I went and swapped the bushings around

They're pretty decent to drive.

Dunno if I could eat the price tag on any of the new trucks though.

The new car released at work has flip folding rear seats. Been bugging brian with the Mitsubishi jeep to make them into his to get rid of the center facing rear seats so his teenagers fit without their heads into the roof. Both the front buckets and rear seats are 17.5” wide so they can squeeze between his wheel Wells even. This is with the custom in house upholstery on them though, they come with plain fabric on them as is. Just a dark grey vinyl I think.

It’s actually funny seeing the chain drive as it’s not that different the golf cart electric drive axle instead of the chain it’s just a gear box with the motor bolted right to it, 12:1 reduction. I think this setup would make for a killer rock crawler moon buggy, motor is low but out of the way, reliable and no oil pressure issues, can tune the throttle and engine braking, range wouldn’t be an issue and the lithium batteries work pretty well

First thing i wondered was how the rest looks. Someone musta installed sealed bearings cause theres no way the cone bearings would survive more than a couple outings in the mud
