I've used the PA one. Propoint brand I think.

I did not do pretty work. But I managed to glue something together that was totally fucked and had totally fucked my day.

One of the guys at work is pretty good with it and has managed to fix a ton of stuff. He's also a bit of a body man, so he's pretty good at sanding it out and hiding everything.

Oh yeah, get some airflow when you do it, or you'll quickly be making as much sense as Justin Trudeau.

Also you have to make sure you're using the right filler rod. Or it may look good, but it will fall apart.

Bought it to do some preventative maintenance on a canoe and like you said the odd time where a day goes slideways on a job at work and this would come in handy.

Messed around with it on a customers head light assembly. Picked up a lithium battery powered kit that has the stapler head with it The the only way I’ve found it kept any structure outside of patching holes. That combined with the steel mesh seems to make a decent repair
