Did some “overlanding” practice this weekend. Went down south and we run from Malakwa, sicamous area around Seymour arm, upper Seymour River, Adams lake area. 350km’s in 2 days. First night we hit snow at 9:00pm just before our destination so we turned around and set up camp where it was drier. Second night was on Adams lake.

Should add the climb to the first campsite was steep. Like 45 minutes of straight up hill. Some of the grades had to be 25-30%.

Some crumby screen shots of the route. This was on my list to do when I lived down there but never made it. Glad I got to do it. 2 days was a little short , with an experienced guide that knows all the cool spots. Got into some really tight stuff, rock crawling but it was so tight I couldn’t get out of see much of anything. Just drove by brail. The snow was deep and melting fast. Terrible spring snow.
