We had put the finishing touches on buddy’s solid axle swapped canyon with a recent V8 swap
The local conditions made for hero snow. Even my jalopy stocker no locker could get around without constantly being on the hook.

Nice seeing the zj smashing around too. The v8 canyon sounds like a nice setup

Re: Summit lake snow run
The v8 canyon is a wicked setup. It’s a all aluminum 5.3 so he actually needs to drop the front probably 2.5 inches since he solid axle swapped it when It still had the inline in it. He built it for hunting and exploring and still has the factory muffler making it super quiet.

He is currently on 37s with room for 40s. But he also mentioned he might take the body lift out that was in it when he bought it

I've looked at those Canyons and Coloraiiiiidos (or however that guy pronounces it) several times... Might go down that road eventually.

Re: Summit lake snow run
it was a super simple swap actually. he bought a rolled toyota that had a solid axle swap in it and then with a few brackets and tabs I had in stock he swapped everything over. The only part that had to be ordered was a tacoma length draglinkScott Cee AKA 2drx4 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 12:06 pm I've looked at those Canyons and Coloraiiiiidos (or however that guy pronounces it) several times...
