I went back, and took one of the local guys that had been asking about it. He had tried to go up a few days before with another Jeep, but there was a lack of talent on the part of the other driver, and they got denied just at the start of the upper trail. So we went on Sunday, and I said I figured we could get him to the top. I also said multiple times that "I think you just got through the hardest part, should be smooth sailing from here" to only round a corner and then remember there's another rock garden or series of ledges.
I'll post pictures tomorrow or the next day or something. Still haven't sorted everything out from this, his JL on 35s managed to make it. I was very impressed. When we were done he said his hands hurt from white knuckling the steering wheel for so long. My XJ held up fine enough, or I think it did, but I did just about flop it because I was tired and not really paying attention (wish I had more than dash camera footage of that). As I said in my build thread I'm not super happy with the suspension change I made, but it worked, so eh.

Also, I bought a new action camera (and sent the other one back). This one is much better, but was still cheap enough that if I lose/destroy it I wouldn't get too upset. It's an AKASO V50X, and so far I'd recommend it, if you want to make tons of video that's largely boring but maybe somebody will watch.

As usual, we had no passengers, so you're pretty stuck with what random stuff I filmed and the odd pictures.
There's some other videos on my B side channel, but eh. You can find them if you really want to watch.
Also, I drew a map to get here (might have mentioned it before) because I had a lot of people asking me on FB after the first trip. I won't just post it up, but if anyone wants it I will send it to them.
