Went back up there to that cutblock with a couple guys today. Their rigs were not capable enough, so I went maybe 1000' into and up that cutblock and called it. Too much risk of me getting screwed out there and not being able to get back. Area totally has potential, just need people with enough vehicle to get it done.
Super crappy pictures because I was kinda busy.
We also took a deviation over towards the cutblocks below Mt George itself. Grown up pretty bad but I suspect you could make it with a little hammering through brush. Day was getting late though so didn't try any farther.

Went out with a couple guys to see if we could get to Mt George. Short answer, we didn't, long answer you totally can.
We got to here: Red star thing.
There is some brush to thrash or cut to get to the top of the block, then just have to find a way through, but I don't think it's an issue. If it hadn't snowed we would have done it. There is actually some difficult spots to get through to get there. Kim had to winch four times I think? I drove through everything, but to get through the block at the end might be harder than some of that. There is one creek crossing that was straight down into and out of it, any less approach/departure than what I have and you'd get jammed up.
Random pics from the trip.

Oh, and Eric's Toyota converted itself to 2wd and we abandoned it 20' from the start of the trail. This was getting back to it at the end of the day. Super annoying for him, he's going to track down a manual shift tcase because this has been ongoing I guess.
