Lightbar question

Post by Scott Cee AKA 2drx4 »

I have this Chicom POS lightbar.

I was going to mount it inside the hatch on my Cherokee to use as a backup light (on a switch), but it would be shining through the back window. The back window is tinted a bit.

Is it going to work or just cause a ton of glare inside so you can't see shit anyway?

I think that's what I'm going to do. Just throw an extra battery in the back and use some alligator clips and tape.

It will also answer if I want to do this at all or not. It might be totally the wrong use for this lightbar. I had some other lights but they're way too dim to bother. :homer:

I think it will probably need a rubber/foam shroud...
