Well the HMF shop was buisy this weekend so didnt get much time on this but got a few things done.

Got the rear x done under where the batteries go. No picture.

Left the fuel cell in the mount and started on mounting the radiator and transcooler.

Got the tubes bent up and tacked in place for mounting the rad and transcooler.

Gonna possibly have to trim or bend the nipple on the trans cooler as it's real close to the tube..

Had a little problem with holesaw this weekend. 2 brand new ones cracked on the weld and the teeth started to spread out on both of them. Only thing I changed was I used the HMF Quick and dirty attachment. So swapped it back to factory and used an old hole saw that was missing about half its teeth and no issues with it so far.

Had to make an adapter cause I needed to notch closer to the bend so came up with a piece of Angle split down the middle and bent out because the angle in the notch master is around 105 degrees not a 90. Welded some 1/4" flat bar on it and now I can notch next to a bend. Would like a bailiegh tn-250 but dont have the G-note for a new notcher right now.

Got the lower mounts figured out for the rad. Didnt have any argon for the tig so couldn't finish them up.

Captured nuts get welded on to the part that gets welded to cage the the other piece gets welded to a piece of 1x1 square tube to mount to the radiator in the channel at the bottom of the core and the fan gets mounted to that aswell

There your crack boys and girls :flipoff:

Damn it... seems like we're all running out of gas lol
Nice mounts.
Does the radiator hose go on without interference with the body? Looks really close.

Well in not out of gas completely I have another full bottle in the shed but I didnt want to go dig it out last night as it was basically almost time to go in anyways. It has got room, the angle of the picture makes it look closer than it is. I have a 45* silicone bend that I used to measure so I could scoot the rad as far forward as possible as the first version I had it about an inch farther back and the coilovers and rad tanks would be a little too cozy for my liking. Should put the hose right up against the tube work with some clearance of course so it will make mounting the aluminum rad hose sections to the cage easy and they will be secure.

Thanks guys. I think the flat bar I used has a slight bend to it so a quick face on the mill on both sides might be in order to try it again or just make v2.0 haha.

Looking back at the pictures I realized I have the mount bolted togeather backwards frame what it's actually going to be like :rasta:

Well small update this weekend as had a bunch of other stuff to do.

Narrowed the winch 2.5 inches. Was actually impressed at all the factory machining on the drum and how thick the drum was for the price of these things. Just need to weld it up and spool some cable back on it to see how many feet I can get on it. I machined the inside of the drum and shrunk a .5" wall sleeve in the middle to help with any new stress from narrowing it. Aslo acts as my root spacer.

Got the lower rad mount tacked in aswell as the trans cooler mounts. Just have to figure out the upper mounts now and build the lower fan mounts then the cooling is all figured out at the back.

Winch narrowing came out nice. I'm also curious how much cable capacity you've lost.

spool the line in find out how much youve lost then toss the cable. even bargain bin PA cable is better then the garbage they put on their winches

Yep going to use a hawse style but looks like ill have to make it :pimp:

Going to mount it with the feet on a plate on the angled tubes on the back so it will pull from the bottom of the winch and ve mounts about 70* to what it is now. Once the rad fans are mounted that and the batteries are next and coilover mounts are in there some where too
