Jesus. I saw a crusty one listed locally for $500 and thought "Wow, I should cash in my 8274 collection in the shed."
Badass winch, fits nothing but fullsize trucks.

Looks like they scabbed a patch on the top too? Was it broken right off?

Yeah There is a piece scabbed on top as it was broken right off. That and the snow plow brackets is all that was holding the frame together. Going to leave that scabbed in piece there as this is just a patch to get him thru hunting season.
Drivers side is only marginally better
Truck has sentimental value as it was his fathers truck.
Customer has a roller one ton frame that he wants me to chop to short box length over the winter. Then swap the cab from this one over. Then he will take it home and finishing it.
