Swags stuff is top notch full color instructions and business cards and stickers of course. I splurged for the foot pedal as well as I like the added safety feature and knowing I can keep both hands free to hold the work piece

It literally takes two minutes to install super simple so far. Of course it doesn’t come with blades but lordco in Smithers wasn’t on it to up sell me blades at double the price so amazon it is

I'm surprised the Portaband doesn't come with at least one blade.

Was Lordco a good deal for the saw? I don't normally think to price tools through them.

it was only slightly cheaper then most places. and its not like I have a huge selection of places locally to source tools from

Im into it for over 700 all in. I also got the foot pedal control for the saw as well. plus you have too buy bandsaw blades. Depending on the saw your use the kit price varies as well. My saw is the newer Milwaukee kit they make.

Got a blades in and set it up. Pretty easy slide it into place it hooks in at the back of the throat. That’s then clamped from the under side

the hole forward if the blade does that

Next up is squaring the blade

These two do that as well as the rear one also help with locating the saw on the table

You probably noticed the led light feature on the saw it’s a nice touch for sure. Also there is two models of the deep cut one is a variable speed trigger and the model I bought which is a on off trigger with 4 speeds
