Camping spot south of Quesnel

I’ve got to do a trip south the Thursday before May long. Looking for camp spot ideas that are close to the highway south bound of Quesnel. I’ll be in late 9-10 ish at night. And leaving early am. Any ideas on spots?

blue lake is close to the hwy but thats other side of mcleese lake so not sure if you are going that far south

Ya I’m heading to Vernon. But it’s about where I’ll want to set up camp. It’s just long days at work and trying to get most of my days off. I’d like to get as far south as I can.
